Neuro Adventures!
Is a survivors-like set in the Neuroverse! It plays very similarly to other games in the genre, but with a twist: instead of one, you play as two characters. A Collab Partner which you control directly, and an AI that will follow the Collab Partner around. Here are four things to keep in mind:

  1. The AI has friendly fire. Any weapon wielded by the AI can, and will damage the collab partner. AIs can damage both collab partners and enemies.
  2. The Collab Partner can only damage enemies. While AIs have friendly fire, this is not true for the collab partner. They can only damage enemies and not the AI.
  3. Enemies will target the AI (but can still damage the Collab Partner). The enemies are wired to follow the AI, but they can still deal damage to the collab partner.
  4. The AI’s AOE indicators are pink, while the enemies’ AOE indicators are dark red. For certain weapons, a colored AOE indicator will appear before the actual attack. For weapons fired by the AI, this indicator will be pink. For the enemy, it will be dark red. This distinction is important because the AI is immune to the AI’s own attacks.

Fun gameplay! Couple of observations:

  • Options button did nothing for me in the menu. Don’t know if it is not yet implemented or a glitch.
  • Some info on the controls would be nice (I’m not familiar with these VS-like auto attack games). I tried mouse clicking and arrow keys for movement before figuring it out.
  • Some feedback on the targeting mechanic would be nice (holding the projectile out toward the mouse cursor or some fire-line or something)

Keep up the good work, the gameplay is fun!

Thanks for your feedback! Yes the option button is really there as a placeholder and does nothing for now.  A better targeting mechanic is something I definetly want to look into!
